Ori Sela, a design journalist, mainly in the national press, and run LOCAL DOT COM, an organization for cultivating entrepreneurship in design in the Israeli market.
“After three years of researching and visiting dozens of studio spaces, I chose to gather all this good and escapist into a book.
The book I produced combines support for Israeli design and a local economy with a deep research I conducted on the development of personal taste in design and other fields.

The main message
If I had to pick one particularly important message I want to say that the designers in the book work in traditional manufacturing techniques, their work is based on hands made. They get up in the morning, banging, thrusting, embroidering, inflating, bars, everything, to actually end up producing one single item. Their duty is to produce a quality, original and interesting product. Our duty is to support their work”.
